Zombies are a type of undead taking the form of an animated corpse. They are often used by necromancers and the like as soldiers and guards. There are many different types of zombies, though revenants are often mistaken for them, but are not true zombies.[citation needed]
Subtypes[]
Strahd Zombies[]
Strahd zombies are the zombified remains of the guards who betrayed Strahd von Zarovich. They have much weaker structure than normal zombies so they are easier to break apart but their limbs will keep on fighting for them.[1][2]
Zombie Golems[]
Zombie golems are golems created by Azalin.[3]
Zombie Lords[]
Zombie lords are greater zombies with more cunning and intelligence than other zombies.[4]
History[]
A vast number of these undead creatures could be found in the domain of Falkovnia.[citation needed]
