A will-o'-wisp was an undead creature that took the form of a glowing orb. They were usually found populating graveyards, battlefields, and swamps.[1]
Description[]
Will-o'-wisps appeared as balls of light to their prey. A will-o'-wisp could change its colors and even turn its light completely off.[1]
Activities[]
Will-o'-wisps pretended to offer guidance to those lost, but instead fed on their despair and fear.[1]
Combat[]
Will-o'-wisps preferred not to attack directly or be attacked by their prey, but would lure unwary creatures deeper into their territory.[1]
Varieties[]
- Will-o'-Dawns
- Will-o'-deeps
- Will-o'-Mists
