Doctor Rudolph van Richten was a scholar from the domain of Darkon.
History
Dr Rudolph van Richten was born in the domain of Darkon.

Rudolph as Rictavio.
He traveled to Barovia to kill Strahd von Zarovich while disguised as the half-elf bard Rictavio. He used Khazan's tower as a hideout.[1]
He resided at the Blue Water Inn in Vallaki.
