Dr Rudolph van Richten was born in the domain of Darkon.
He traveled to Barovia to kill Strahd von Zarovich while disguised as the half-elf bard Rictavio. He used Khazan's tower as a hideout.[1]
He resided at the Blue Water Inn in Vallaki.
