Helna Vladinova was a great Knight of the Shadows and a member of the Circle.[2]
History[]
Helna rescued Gondegal after he succumbed to three vampires during his ill-fated flight into Darkon, some time after 735 BC. She had her squire care for him, and Gondegal awoke some days later, but it took many months for him to recover his health. In that time, Helna spoke often with him and he came to realize his life was on the wrong course and to understand the vital work that Helna and the Circle did. By the end, he elected to join the Circle and become a Knight of the Shadows himself. He would even become leader of the Circle in 751 BC.[2]
