Barovia was a village in the domain of Barovia. It was oppressed by Strahd von Zarovich. The hamlet nestled in a valley at the foot of Castle Ravenloft. It was the home of Ireena Kolyana, Strahd's "beloved" This village is sometimes referred to as the capital city of the country, although Strahd holds this place under his rule.[1]

- Graveyard- This graveyard was haunted by harmless spirits.[6]
- Bildrath's Mercantile: This was the only shop for gear in Barovia and the most expensive.[7]
