Barovia was a village in the domain of Barovia. It was oppressed by Strahd von Zarovich. The hamlet nestled in a valley at the foot of Castle Ravenloft. It was the home of Ireena Kolyana, Strahd's "beloved".[1]

  • Death House: one of the most haunted houses in Ravenloft.[1]
  • Mad Mary's townhouse[2]
  • Burgomaster's mansion: the residence of Kolyan Indirovich[3]
  • Church: This church was haunted by the priest Donavich's vampire son, Doru.[4]
  • Blood on the Vine tavern[5]
  • Graveyard- This graveyard was haunted by harmless spirits.[6]
  • Bildrath's Mercantile: This was the only shop for gear in Barovia and the most expensive.[7]
